Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2012
The vineyard lies between Blanchot and Valmur and is renowned for producing wines of great strength. Robert Parker notes the "wet stones and minerals intertwined with flavors of apples and lemons" that Les Clos often unveils. Les Clos frequently has "excellent acidity, superb depth, power, and richness, but it is the stony, mineral-like precision to its flavors that sets it apart from one of the Côte d'Or's top white burgundies. The great examples of Les Clos...often seem immortal. In fact they are capable of lasting 15-20 years."
