This wine originates in the township of Volnay just south of Beaune in the heart of Burgundy. The soils are mainly composed of clayish-limestone. Ruby in colour this fine wine has a delicate nose with fruit and vegetal notes. It has soft tannins and thick structure supported by plump spicy woody flavours.
