A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, this liquid gold-colored Champagne is named after the legendary French king who decreed that Champagne must be transported in bottles, enabling it to preserve its bubbles and distinguish itself from all the other wines of France. In order to celebrate Louis XVs great foresight and contribution to Champagnes current illustriousness, this Presitge Cuvée is presented in a transparent glass decanter which bears his name. Made from 100% Grand Cru grapes and aged for 10 years in De Venoges underground cellars, this 1995 is royal, elegant and sophisticated. The finesse of the bubbles enhances the color of the wine with flashes of incandescent yellow gold.
