The micro-climate in the Saint-Bris appellation allows for the Sauvignon Blanc grapes to express their full aromatic palette as well as the minerality of the terroir. The vines are often planted in way that minimizes their sun exposure, provoking a long growing season, a slow maturity and therefore a beautiful expression of this unique grape.
Tasting Notes
Le Saint-Bris has a pale yellow hue with green accents. The exuberant nose is characterized by crushed cassis leaves, exotic fruits, freshly cut herbs and pepper. This wine has an excellent structure and an aromatic persistence, lingering with hints of fruits and herbs on the palate. The Saint-Bris should be served in its youth as an apéritif or with fruit desserts.
