The wines of Chassagne-Montrachet offer great value due to their relatively unfashionable image when compared with their direct neighbours at Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.

The Grand Cru Chablis made by Simonnet-Febvre, are from the very best vineyards located in the appellation, orientated towards the south-west.

The grapes, which go into the selection, are harvested on the hill of Corton on southeasterly facing parcels: Corton du Roi, Les Bressandes, Les Greves, Les Perrieres. 

Chassagne-Montrachet is located just to the south of Puligny-Montrachet and serves as the last great white wine appellation of the Côte de Beaune.
