Château de Tracy
Founded in 1396, wine has been made at the Chateau de Tracy for 600 years. The vineyards lie on southwest facing slopes close to the Loire River. Chateau de Tracy’s objective is to produce quality wines from rigorous and safe viticulture and vinification techniques. No insecticides or pollutants are used, rigorous canopy management is practiced, yields are restricted, and the vine’s natural auto regulation is fully encouraged.
The wines of Tracy typically show a complex, powerful, flinty nose with aromas of lemon and grapefruit. Château de Tracy is one of only 7 Loire Valley wines distinguished by France’s top wine publication, La Revue du vin de France.
